229_Private Residence in Agios Athanasios, Limassol
The main concept of the design of the house in Agios Athanasios, Limassol was the separation of the house from the public character of the front street.
The above principle was executed with the design of a fair faced concrete wall with metal structural components, on the façade of the house. In contrast with the impermeability of the front of the house, the back area has a transparent character between the inside and the outside, since most areas have visual communication with the pool and the tree planted hill at the back of the plot. The house is mostly white and grey, while in some areas hpl in walnut colour was used.
The main colors of the house are gray and white. However, the strongest architectural element of the building is the fair face concrete wall on the facade. There is also wood in some places where it contrasts with the cool colors of the rest of the house.
At the ground floor, the formal living room and dining area are separated from the informal living room and kitchen, as well as the office that also functions as a guest room.
An important factor in the design was the design of the terrace around the pool. On the terrace there are mainly 2 covered areas, one is a living room with a double-sided fireplace (between the informal living room and the veranda), the other is the barbecue area.
Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, two of which include en suite toilets, and the master bedroom includes also a walking wardrobe.
The house, completed in November 2019, has a total of 227 sqm internal area, 3 parking spaces, 48 sqm covered verandas and 93 sqm uncovered verandas.
